cPanel + CageFS and CloudLinux's PHP switcher may cause problems with Magento CRON. Until this is fixed, you can get the cron working by tweaking the cron.sh file:
PHP_BIN=`which php`
to
PHP_BIN="/usr/local/bin/php"
in your cron.sh file on line 14.
