Installing IPSet on CentOS

CSF (ConfigServer Firewall) on a Linux system and you block a lot of IP addresses, performance can degrade on your server.

One way to improve performance is to use IPSET and then enable it into CSF.

It’s a straight forward process:

1. Install the IPSET package using YUM:
yum install ipset -y

2. Edit the configuration file (/etc/csf/csf.conf), find the LF_IPSET line, set it to 1 and save the file

3. Restart CSF:
csf -r

You are now done and CSF should be much faster
